About 'Play A Sport' — Getting You Started


1. What is 'Play A Sport'?

‘Play A Sport’ is a platform that helps users discover and connect with sports academies and institutions offering coaching, structured training, and facilities. This includes coaching staff, programs, facilities, and services that help develop children's and individuals’ athletic skills and overall sports education.

2. Where is our corporate office located?

Our registered office is located at:
AE-694, Sector 1, Salt Lake City, Bidhan Nagar AE Market, North 24 Parganas, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 700064, West Bengal, India.

3. Is registration at 'Play A Sport' free?

A minimum fee of INR 200 is payable by users for using the services on the platform.


Play Hour by 'Play A Sport'

1. Can I cancel my participation?

No refunds are provided for membership fees. Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy on the platform.

2. How can I get a discount?

Any available discount will be announced on the platform or communicated via the email address or phone number provided during registration.

3. Can I bring a friend along?

No. Only users who have purchased the services or individuals registered under that user are allowed to attend the sessions.

4. Who can join?

Any individual can join the platform and, upon payment of the applicable fees, avail the services of listed academies.


Academies: Places to Play

Discover, Book & List Academies

1. Can I search by academy on the app?

Yes, absolutely.

2. I cannot see any academy near my area. Why?

We are continuously expanding. If you don’t see any academy nearby, please check again later, or suggest one by emailing us at [email protected].

3. Where can I get information regarding sports equipment?

A dedicated marketplace will be available inside the Play A Sport app. Equipment may also be available directly at academies.

4. What does the academy rating signify?

It reflects the average of reviews submitted by users who have availed services from that academy.

5. How can I rate an academy or submit feedback?

After purchasing services, you can rate and review the academy through the Order Review section in your account.

6. I made an offline booking. Can the issue be resolved through Play A Sport?

No. We do not offer offline bookings. All purchases must be made online.

7. I have an issue with an academy. How do I report it?

Email us the details of your issue with the academy to our grievance officer at [email protected] with all details.


Booking Academy & Experiences

On-demand booking of academies, events, tournaments, etc.

1. How do I book an academy?

Choose your academy → Select training term/duration → Choose your plan → Complete the payment.

2. My bookings are not showing in the app.

It may take up to 24 hours to reflect. If it still doesn’t appear, email us to our grievance officer at [email protected].

3. Do I need to show my booking ID at the academy?

Yes. A unique booking ID will be issued. Please carry valid ID proof as well.

4. I need invoices/receipts.

All invoices are available in your account under Bookings. If inaccessible, please write to our grievance officer at [email protected].

5. The academy I booked is closed. Can I shift to another academy?

No. Bookings cannot be transferred between academies.

6. Can I book on behalf of 4+ people?

Yes, but each person must have a separate account and phone number.

7. If I don’t use my package, will I get a refund?

Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Can offline bookings be rescheduled or cancelled?

We do not offer offline bookings.


Rescheduling

Rescheduling academy slots, rescheduling policies, charges, etc.

1. How to reschedule a booking?

Rescheduling is possible. Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

2. Can a rescheduled booking be cancelled?

Please refer to the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

3. Can I change my academy after booking?

No. Bookings cannot be moved to a different academy.

4. Can I reschedule or transfer a booking to another venue?

No, this is not available.

5. Can I change my booking from one sport to another?

This depends on the academy’s rules. Please write to our grievance officer at [email protected].

6. I paid more earlier; after rescheduling the cost is less. Will I get the difference?

Yes, the excess amount will be credited to your Play A Sport wallet.


'Play A Sport' Stats & Academy Ratings

Change rating an academy & more

1. Can I see who has rated the academies?

No. Ratings are anonymous.

2. Who can I rate?

You can rate any academy whose services you’ve purchased.

3. I missed rating an academy. Can I do it later?

Yes, you can.


Payments

Saved cards, transactions, payment issues

1. What payment methods are accepted?

Credit card, debit card, and UPI.

2. I paid fully at the academy, but the app shows "payment pending".

It may take up to 24 hours to update. If the issue persists, please write to our grievance officer at [email protected].

3. What does "refund within 5–7 business days" mean?

Refund will reflect within 5–7 working days, excluding weekends and public holidays.

4. How do I identify a transaction from Play A Sport on my card statement?

It will appear as a debit to SISE.

5. How to remove saved card details?

We don’t store or save any card details on our platform, so there’s nothing you need to remove. Your payment information stays completely secure with the payment provider.


Account & Settings

Profile, delete account, privacy policy, terms of service, etc.

1. How to edit profile information?

Go to your ProfileEdit → Update your details.

2. How to change my profile picture?

Select your profile photo → Choose Edit Photo → Upload a new image.

3. How to change my mobile number without losing my stats?

At the moment, mobile numbers cannot be changed directly from your profile. If you need to update your number, just email us at [email protected] and we’ll help you update it without affecting your stats or account data.

4. How to reset or delete my account?

In your profile, select Delete Account. Confirm when prompted.

5. Can I log in using two numbers/accounts at the same time?

No. A single user can only stay logged in with one number/account at a time.
